Jarrad Schofield Biography

Jarrad Schofield will remain at the Eagles, who have confirmed their coaching structure for 2025 under new head coach Andrew McQualter.

It's believed the 49-year-old was keen to secure the role full-time, but former Richmond caretaker McQualter won out and was appointed head coach on a three-year deal.

Matthew Knights and Jarrad Schofield join West Coast's coaching panel, leaving the posts as midfield coaches of the Cats and Power respectively.

Luke Edwards, the son of Adelaide champion Tyson Edwards, performed well at the carnival as did Taj Schofield, whose father is Port Adelaide premiership player Jarrad Schofield.

Edwards, whose brother Jackson joined the Crows as a rookie last year, was named in the midfield of the under-16s All Australian side after averaging 16 disposals for South Australia, who claimed the division one title.

Schofield is a 178cm small forward/midfielder who averaged 17 disposals for Western Australia during the carnival.
