Injury has forced Gold Coast midfielder Daniel Harris to retire from AFL football after 160 matches.
"I'm thankful for my time at the Gold Coast Football Club," Harris said.
"When I first got to the club Bluey (Guy McKenna) said, 'you are a custodian of the football club. You'll wear that jumper and one day you'll hand that jumper on'. I'll never forget that and I'm honoured to have pulled on the jumper, at North Melbourne and the Gold Coast. I can walk away content."
