David Johnson Biography

Thursday, 29 October 2009

Cat David Johnson announces his retirement.

"When I started out my goal was to just play one game," Johnson said.

"To have been able to play at Geelong for eight years, to play with my best mates and in a great team has exceeded what I could ever have hoped for.

"The coaches have been great, the club has been outstanding and I finish with no regrets."

Wednesday, 25 March 2009

Geelong's David Johnson has been ruled out of this week's clash with Hawthorn with a hamstring injury.

Johnson sustained the injury during the Cats NAB Cup semi-final win over Carlton and is still a week away from returning.

Sunday, 15 February 2009

Geelong forward Steve Johnson was given an unusual reason for being rested from an intra-club match on Friday - he has been training too hard.
