Robin Nahas could be facing a spell on the sidelines after the Kangaroos' 41-point win over Melbourne on Sunday. Nahas was substituted out of the game in the second quarter after he was ridden into the turf in a Neville Jetta tackle. Nahas landed awkwardly on his right shoulder and immediately left the field cradling his arm. ahas was seen walking the boundary line in a sling and was sent to hospital during the match, but the full extent of the damage is unknown. "He's been sent off for scans so it's a suspected dislocated shoulder, but only suspected at this stage because it wasn't out of the socket when he came off," North Melbourne coach Brad Scott said. "Whether it subluxed or fully dislocated or not at all we're not sure so we'll get the scans and find out."

Robin Nahas collects 18 disposals and 2 goals against his former side Richmond in a 28-point win to North Melbourne against the Tigers. "He's obviously got a few mates at Richmond because they all wanted to bash him," North Melbourne coach Brad Scott joked post-match. "But he responded really well to that treatment. As I said to him, if you're a dangerous player you generally cop some decent defensive pressure. "I was pleased for him, he just played his part but he stood up when he needed to and sat under the footy in tough situations when he knew the contact was coming. "He took it and he was terrific."

Robin Nahas admits he thought his AFL career was over after being delisted by Richmond last year. "I started thinking about life after footy as soon as I got delisted from Richmond," Nahas said. "I had no idea (what came next). I'm doing a bit of property at the moment, but I still wouldn't have much of an idea. "You're not too sure what other clubs see in you and whether or not you've got any value outside of the football club you're with." Nahas says he has had to develop the defensive aspects of his game to salvage his career after being thrown a lifeline by North Melbourne. "I know that if I come in with the mindset of defence first it goes a long way to getting me a game," he said. "I've got to bring something different to the team – a bit of pressure."

Delisted Tiger Robin Nahas says he still has plenty to offer an AFL club. "I've played the majority of games since I've been on an AFL list. I haven't missed too many and my stats haven't been too bad," Nahas said. Nahas says he was a victim of the Tigers' playing structure rather than his lack of ability. "The change of structure just hurt my position," he said. "There became less positions available for my type of player in our side and that was the way it went. "I did whatever I could to get back in the side and it was a tough year but one you learn a lot from to be honest, and you mature as a player and a person. "You realise how quickly this can be taken away from you."

After a Robin Nahas masterclass against the Demons with 21 disposals and 2 goals, Richmond coach Damien Hardwick wants his small forward to do it more often. "He's still got some work to do, Robbie, he's still got to learn to work his way through quiet patches. But we're certainly happy with the way he's going at the moment."

Granted he takes the game on and causes some blues, but at least he has a crack."

It's my first year in the AFL system so yeah it was sort of a bit surreal so I've obviously got to improve a lot of areas, coming from the VFL." Both coach and player admit that his attitude to training wasn't up to scratch. The 21-year-old responded with a 19 disposal game that almost pinched the game for the Tigers. "I got a bit of a kick up the backside during the week," Nahas said. Caretaker coach Jade Rawlings was pleased with Nahas' effort against Adelaide. "I had a bit of a chat to him during the week. We've got pretty high expectations for Robin Nahas. He's worked very hard to get himself onto an AFL list and there's no room for comfort for him," Rawlings said.

Richmond forward Jack Riewoldt says the young Tigers forward line that he is a key part of is coming along well. "We've got a few new faces down there - Robin Nahas is down there and he's been lively and has had a great input, Tommy Hislop last week played a fantastic game, along with young Tyrone Vickery," Riewoldt said. "We've got a lot of young faces down there, and Mitch Morton is almost the oldest person in the forward line, so we've got a lot of new guys down there, a lot of exuberance, a lot of youth. "We're just trying to do our job best for the team - put on defensive pressure and hopefully kick a winning score."
