Kyle Hardingham Biography

Wednesday, 22 October 2014

The Bombers announce that Kyle Hardingham, Sean Gregory and Johnny Rayner will not be offered new contracts for next season, while small forward Leroy Jetta recently told the club that he wanted to explore his options via free agency.

"The club would like to thank all four men for their contribution and dedication during their time at Essendon," general manager of football operations Robb Kerr said.

"On behalf of everyone at the club we wish them every success in the future, both on and off the field."

Kyle Hardingham is likely to seek a trade from Essendon after a lack of senior opportunities in 2014.

Media have reported that Hardingham's management group has notified rival clubs of the 26-year-old's desire to find a new home.

Wednesday, 13 April 2011

Kyle Hardingham says a permanent move to defence has provided him with greater certainty and is helping to improve his game.

"I obviously played a few games last year, but I'm just trying to cement that spot in the backline now, considering the only way I could get a game last year was to play forward," Hardingham said.

"It's good that I've been given the opportunity in the NAB Cup to go down back, where I've always played my footy, and try to impress that way."

Saturday, 24 July 2010

Kyle Hardingham makes his AFL debut for Essendon at Docklands Stadium with 11 disposals (9 kicks and 2 handballs), 7 marks, 2 tackles and 4 goals in a 3-point win over North Melbourne.
