The Brisbane Lions delist Mitch Golby.

Golby played 56 games in his six seasons at the Lions, but managed just five this year, and none after round eight.

After an impressive 24 disposals, eight marks and four tackles against GWS, utility Mitch Golby becomes the Brisbane Lions' second NAB AFL Rising Star nominee this year.

"Mitch shows an exceptional work rate and has really found his place in our backline this year," Lions coach Michael Voss said.

"He's a quiet achiever - he puts his head down and does his job with no fuss."

Mitchell Golby makes his AFL debut for Brisbane at Docklands Stadium with 16 disposals (11 kicks and 5 handballs), 3 marks and 5 tackles in a 61-point loss to Carlton.
