The Western Bulldogs have delisted midfielder Brodie Moles along with fellow former rookies Andrew Hooper and James Mulligan.

"We would like to thank these players for the contribution to the club, and wish them all the very best for the future," Bulldogs football manager James Fantasia said.

The Bulldogs have delisted Andrew Hooper, the man who made history by being the only player in the past 27 years to debut in an AFL final.

"It's never easy when you get the arse. It's unfortunate news - you don't want to know it, don't want to hear it - but life goes on and we're hopeful 'Hoops' will get another opportunity," Hooper's manager Marty Pask said.

"As a teenager he broke into a top-four side for a cut-throat final, and he's just got to recapture that. It's certainly still there. Unfortunately he just had an unlucky trot with injury this year."

Andrew Hooper makes his AFL debut for the Western Bulldogs at the MCG with 5 disposals (3 kicks and 2 handballs) and a goal in a 5-point win over Sydney.

Western Bulldogs rookie Andrew Hooper expects to go under the radar when he makes his debut against the Swans on Saturday night.

"He's been playing predominantly as a small forward," Bulldogs assistant coach Chris Maple said.

"He's enthusiastic and he'll lift the group in that respect. He's a genuine competitor with his leg speed and he can kick a goal."
