Essendon makes its final list changes ahead of next month's draft by delisting Cory Dell'Olio, Fraser Thurlow and Dylan van Unen.

Essendon football manager Rob Kerr wished Dell'Olio, van Unen and Thurlow luck in the future.

"They are well rounded young men who have displayed tremendous commitment and dedication in their bid to carve out AFL careers," Kerr said.

"The club has now finalised its list ahead of the national draft."

Ariel Steinberg and Cory Dell'Olio sign one-year rookie deals with Essendon.

"The re-signing of Cory and Ariel fills two of the available four rookie positions on our list for the 2014 season," Bombers list manager Adrian Dodoro said.

"It takes a resilient character to stay on the rookie list at a club and I think that is a great asset that both of these players possess."

Small forward Cory Dell'Olio has been promoted from Essendon's rookie list and is expected to make his debut against GWS in round 17.

"Cory has showed consistent form this season at VFL level and we have been really pleased with some of his recent performances," Essendon football operations manager Steve Alessio said.

"He has experienced AFL football before and hopefully he can be an important forward line option for us heading into the closing stages of the season."

Corey Dell'Olio makes his AFL debut for Essendon at the MCG with 9 disposals (6 kicks and 3 handballs), a mark and 5 tackles in a 30-point win over Carlton.

Small forward Cory Dell'Olio has been elevated to Essendon's senior list and is line to debut against Carlton.

"Cory had a terrific pre-season and we were impressed with his form early in the NAB Cup campaign, and as a result of his hard work, we are giving him the opportunity he deserves," Essendon football manager Paul Hamilton said.
