Geelong has delisted former junior basketball star Michael Luxford as the overhaul of the Cats' list continues.
Luxford played two AFL games in 2015, starting as the sub both times, after being drafted as a category B rookie the previous year.
The 21-year-old midfielder showed enough promise to be upgraded to the senior list but couldn't crack an opportunity at the top level this season.
"Michael is an impressive sporting talent who worked diligently on his game to transition from basketball to football," Geelong football manager Steve Hocking said.
"He was popular amongst his teammates and we wish him all the best in his future sporting endeavours."
