Jesse Palmer Biography

Sunday, 29 October 2017

Jesse Palmer and Brett Eddy are delisted by Port Adelaide.

Thursday, 10 November 2016

Jesse Palmer has been used primarily as a forward but says he is wants to spend time in the middle for Port Adelaide.

"You've got to have another string to your bow," Palmer said.

"In terms of midfield, I've got to improve my endurance. In the future, maybe down the track (I can play in the midfield), but I see myself as a forward."

Palmer played strongly for Port Adelaide in the SANFL before making his AFL debut in round 21 and holding his spot for the last three games.

"It was good to get that experience, to get a taste for it and gives you a bit of a base of what to work on during the pre-season," Palmer said.

"It's a pretty big step up from SANFL footy.

"It was a good experience and I thought I held my own, just like all the other boys did when they got their opportunity."

Saturday, 13 August 2016

Jesse Palmer makes his AFL debut for Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval with 12 disposals (6 kicks and 6 handballs), 4 marks and 2 tackles in a 40-point loss to Melbourne.

Wednesday, 10 February 2016

Jesse Palmer signs a one-year deal that will see them remain at Port Adelaide in 2017.

"Jesse gave us a bit at SANFL level and played most of the season, had an impact up forward and gave himself a good base to launch himself from for this year," Power coach Ken Hinkley said.

Saturday, 29 November 2014

Port Adelaide select Jesse Palmer with pick No.78 in 2014 NAB AFL Draft.

"He's about 191cm and had 70 shots at goal in the TAC Cup and kicked about 35 goals. He's got great hands for his size," Port list manager Jason Cripps said.

"He's quite smart in what he can do and we think when he's improved his fitness he'll be able to play some different roles. But he's very much a natural, smart forward."
