Adelaide delists former Hawthorn ruck/forward Luke Lowden and rookie-listed forward Keenan Ramsey.

"Both Luke and Keenan have had a positive influence on our environment and can be proud of the way they have carried themselves," Crows coach Don Pyke said.

Adelaide select Keenan Ramsey with pick No.27 in the 2014 NAB AFL Rookie Draft.

"His versatility is his strength because he's played lots of his junior footy as a forward, but we really liked his defensive stuff," Crows recruiting manager Hamish Ogilvie said.

"He even went into the midfield for South Australia for a little burst."

Crows rookie Keenan Ramsey has lived with only one eye since he was two after having one eye removed due to cancer of the retina.

It occurred long before he took up an interest in footy and so he said his body had simply adapted to playing the game like anyone else.

"I never thought of my eye as a hindrance. I thought, 'Look this is how I'm going to be'," Ramsey said.

"I can't remember having two eyes so this is just how I've been my whole life.

"I don't think [I've had to do] anything special, just work a lot harder, doing the little extra things that perhaps other people aren't doing to put you in front of the pack.

"I think I see as well as everyone else … I'm a good role model to kids to just show them you can achieve anything you put your mind to."
