Kieran Lovell signs a one-year contract extension with Hawthorn to remain with the club in 2018.

“Kieran is a promising young midfielder who is tough in close and has a really strong ability to find the footy," Hawthorn Recruiting and List Manager Graham Wright said.

“While he has had a frustrating season in terms of injury, we are really excited to see what he can produce in the brown and gold in years to come.”

Kieran Lovell makes his AFL debut for Hawthorn with 11 disposals (6 kicks and 5 handballs), a mark and a tackle in a 75-point loss to GWS.

Hawthorn select Kieran Lovell with pick No.22 in the 2015 NAB AFL Draft.

"Averaged 34.5 touches in the (under-18 carnival) and at TAC Cup Level. He's only 174cm but when you watch him play, it doesn't seem to be an issue. He could play senior football next year," Hawthorn recruiting manager Graham Wright said.
