Port Adelaide suspends Jarman Impey for the club's round one clash against the Sydney Swans after his crash-and-run incident at the weekend.
The club has also suspended young forward Aidyn Johnson for the season opener after South Australian police advised the 19-year-old was a passenger in the car.
Both players have been fined $5000 by the Power's leadership group, which sanctioned the two forwards after consulting with the AFL and AFL Players Association.
Impey crashed into four cars, one belonging to teammate Angus Monfries, following a pool party and drinking session at Monfries' house.
Impey and Johnson will direct their $5,000 sanctions to the Brain Injury Network of South Australia in support of road safety programs helping people who have suffered brain injuries.
They will also be required to participate in the network's youth reconnect programs.
