Jack Madgen, Tim Broomhead and Rupert Wills sign new deals to remain with the Magpies in 2020.

"Tim's worked hard in the VFL to return from the injury that cut his 2018 season short, while Jack and Rupert were able to come in and play their role for the team late in the season," Collingwood list manager Ned Guy said in a statement.

"We're hoping that another 12 months will give them the opportunity to have an even greater impact."

Rupert Wills signs a new two-year deal to extend his stay at Collingwood after an injury-plagued second season in the AFL.

Wills, 24, was the first Collingwood VFL player to be drafted to the Pies' AFL team and a promising end to last year had him primed for an even bigger impact in 2017.

But a pre-season quad injury and further calf problems, which also affected him a year earlier, halted his progress and he added only one game – in round 18 – to the five he played last season.

Rupert Wills makes his AFL debut for Collingwood at the MCG with 17 disposals (5 kicks and 12 handballs), a mark and 11 tackles in a 19-point win over West Coast.
