Myles Poholke makes his AFL debut for Adelaide at the SCG with 10 disposals (5 kicks and 5 handballs), 4 marks and 4 tackles in a 10-point win over Sydney.

Myles Poholke signs a two-year contract extension with Adelaide to remain at the club until the end of 2020.

Good mates Jordan Gallucci and Myles Poholke have joined their Crows teammates for the first time since being taken with the club's first two picks in last Friday's NAB AFL Draft.

Poholke said Gallucci had all the tools to make an impact at the next level.

"Jordan brings that X-factor to the team," Poholke said.

"He works really hard, he's a leader. He's definitely someone you want on your side rather than playing against.

"He's been a massive help for me since I came into the program and showed me the professionalism that's needed and I can't wait to play with him."

The pair's move interstate to unfamiliar surroundings has been made easier after they were a part of the national academy.

"He gave me a call straight after his name was called out, it's a good feeling," Gallucci said.

"You know that person already so it helps with the transition."

Adelaide select Myles Poholke with pick No.44 in the 2016 National Draft.

"Myles is a big, strong midfielder with some power. He's good in the air, very clean ball take, which is the thing we like about him," Crows National Recruiting Manager Hamish Ogilvie said.
