"They provided good depth for us when we needed it, and we are grateful for the time they spent at Port Adelaide."

Wednesday, 28 September 2022

Geelong delists five players, including Quinton Narkle, Francis Evans, Paul Tsapatolis, Nick Stevens and Zane Williams.

"Each player has played their part in our recent success, and we thank them for their commitment and dedication to our football program," Cats football boss Simon Lloyd said.

"To pull on the hoops is an achievement in of itself, and each of these young men should be incredibly proud to have represented the Geelong Football Club."

Monday, 20 September 2021

Quinton Narkle signs a one-year deal at the Cats to remain at the club in 2022.

Tuesday, 24 November 2020

Darcy Fort signs a new two-year deal while fellow Cats Quinton Narkle, Zach Guthrie, Ben Jarvis and Stefan Okunbor have all signed on for another season.

"We see Quinton, Darcy, Zach, Ben and Stefan as still having improvement in front of them," Cats head of football Simon Lloyd said.

"They each had limited opportunities this year, but all five players worked hard and got better. We are looking forward to their continued improvement."

Monday, 23 July 2018

Quinton Narkle signs a contract extension to remain at Geelong until the end of 2020.

Narkle made his debut in round 15 and has played four games after overcoming a 2017 ACL reconstruction.

"When we all got drafted it was a big draft so to sign on with all the boys (is great), we've become pretty close over the years," Narkle said.

"To spend these extra years with the boys and the others, hopefully we have some success down the track."

Friday, 29 June 2018

Quinton Narkle makes his AFL debut for Geelong at Docklands Stadium with 14 disposals (9 kicks and 5 handballs), 4 marks, 6 tackles and 2 goals in a 2-point loss to the Western Bulldogs.

Wednesday, 27 June 2018

Quinton Narkle will become Geelong's sixth debutant of the 2018 season when he takes the field against the Western Bulldogs this week.

It caps a remarkable rise for the 20-year-old West Australian who has played six VFL games after returning from a ruptured ACL in May.

"He's a really contested player, sharp with the ball (and) can play multiple roles," Cats coach Chris Scott said.

"Given we do have pretty good availability now, albeit without much match conditioning into those (returning) guys, it's a really strong indication of how we rate him."

Friday, 23 June 2017

Quinton Narkle is set to miss the rest of 2017, and quite possibly, much of 2018 after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee at training.

Friday, 25 November 2016

Geelong select Quinton Narkle with pick No.60 in the 2016 National Draft.

"Quinton is an elusive player around stoppages with good speed to burst away from congestion," Geelong list manager Stephen Wells said.

"He's clean with the footy and has the ability to push forward and hit the scoreboard."
