James Rowbottom is excited to face off against his former mentor, Luke Parker, in an upcoming match between North Melbourne and Sydney.

"I worked very closely with 'Parks' at the start of my career, and he's a massive mentor to me, so I was obviously very sad to see him go," Rowbottom said.

"I'm looking forward to seeing him tomorrow and seeing what he's got."
