Essendon delists Brayden Ham, Alec Waterman and Cody Brand.

"We thank Cody, Brayden and Alec for their contribution to the club over their careers," Essendon's general manager of list and recruiting Adrian Dodoro said.

"These decisions are never easy but we commend the three players on their maturity and professionalism. We wish them all the best for their future endeavours."

Brayden Ham makes his AFL debut for Essendon at Docklands Stadium with 10 disposals (6 kicks and 4 handballs), 3 marks, 5 tackles and a goal in a 58-point win over North Melbourne.

Essendon select Brayden Ham with pick No.72 in the 2018 National Draft.

"Brayden will need some time to further develop but he is a 19-year-old that ticks all the boxes as far as speed, agility and endurance," Essendon recruiting manager Adrian Dodoro said.

"He has modern-day football traits and uses the ball well so our team were really keen to get him on board. It was a great result."
