Jordon Sweet is traded from the Bulldogs to Port Adelaide in exchange for the Power's pick No.50 in this year's draft.

"Jordon has been one of, if not the premier ruckman in the VFL in 2023 and comes to our club looking for more opportunity after being stuck behind the All-Australian ruck in Tim English," Port list boss Jamie Cripps said.

"He is a mobile tall who we think will complement and develop with our young midfield, and has a mature body and enough experience to challenge to play regularly at AFL level."

Jordon Sweet requests a trade from the Bulldogs to join Port Adelaide.

One of the best performed rucks in the VFL, Sweet has played just 11 senior games since being drafted in 2018 and did not feature in the AFL this year.

Western Bulldogs recruit Jordon Sweet believes he has the attributes to perform as a ruck at AFL level.

"My pressure around the contest is good, my game knowledge is strong, as well as my skills for a big man," Sweet said.

"I love the physicality aspect of the game, I love getting inside opponents' heads, so I'll bring a bit of aggression in the middle.

"I give myself every chance to play round one, and there's no reason why I shouldn't think I can't."

The Western Bulldogs select Jordon Sweet with pick No.23 in the 2018 Rookie Draft.
