Adelaide select Jake Soligo with pick No.36 in the 2021 National Draft.
Draft Report: A classy onballer, Soligo's season got better the longer it went on in the NAB league this year. A consistent performer at a high standard, he racks up the footy and has a good balance between his inside and outside game. A tough-nut, Soligo also has a strong defensive mindset and averaged 6.3 tackles a game for the Rangers. In two of his seven matches, he recorded an astounding 10 tackles. While not a tall midfielder, he is also a good mark for his size and has some polish in front of goal. Soligo also stepped up well to a higher level, having a strong match in a Vic Metro trial game in June before shining with 18 disposals, seven marks and a goal in Vic Metro's Challenge Match against Vic Country in July. The Eastern Ranges' best and fairest winner is a similar player to Sydney breakout youngster Errol Gulden: he is skilful by foot, clean below his knees, and possesses a strong endurance base.
