Harvey Langford Biography

Harvey Langford is the 2025 round 3 AFL Rising Star nominee after starring in Melbourne's loss to Gold Coast.

In just his second AFL game and first full outing, Langford had 26 disposals, 15 contested possessions, 10 score involvements, six clearances and kicked a goal.

"I thought he was probably our best midfielder on the day, which probably says a bit to have a guy playing his second game and his first full game to be one of our best players is outstanding for him," Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin said.

Harvey Langford makes his AFL debut for Melbourne at the MCG with 5 disposals (3 kicks and 2 handballs) and a mark in a 3-point loss to GWS.
